חברה של עבדים אוהבת רק דברים שיש בהם עבדות, ולא יכולה לשאת את נוכחותו של חופש מסוג כלשהו. אבל כל קולקטיב הוא, בבסיסו, חברה של עבדים — ואפילו אם, על פני השטח, קולקטיב מסוים מוקדש למאבק בעד החופש, מבט מקרוב יגלה שמתחת לחופש הזה מסתתר סוג סמוי של שעבוד.
A society of slaves only likes things that contain slavery, and cannot bear the presence of any form of freedom. But any collective is, in essence, a slave society — and even if a certain collective is superficially dedicated to fighting for freedom, a closer look will reveal that under that freedom there lies a covert type of subjugation.
