A bird landed every day by an aquarium, stood next to it, and looked closely at the fish inside. When the fish saw her they tried to persuade her to come in and join them, until one day she agreed. But the aquarium was small, with no space for spreading wings; and what's worse, the bird couldn't breathe there, and had to twist her neck with great difficulty to raise her beak above the water and get some air. She complained to the fish, but they didn't understand why she felt so bothered, and said: Who needs wings? Who needs air? Stay a bit longer, in life you can get used to anything, don't give up right at the start. A few days passed like that, and then a few weeks, and the bird kept struggling and complaining. This isn't a way to live, she finally aid, and announced she was leaving. You're right, said the fish, this place really isn't for you. It seems a bird shouldn't live in an aquarium after all. Of course I shouldn't live here, said the bird before taking off; the bigger problem is that neither should you.
